Spring is a season of renewal, and there is no better place to experience it than in our local parks. We are getting ready for you at the state-of- the-art Parkwood Family Aquatic Center where membership promises a summer filled with fun water activities for the entire family. The opening of our Outdoor Tennis courts, on May 5 weather- permitting, include 25 har-tru courts and 4 hard courts. Women’s Intensive Training, Pre-School, Youth, Junior Elite and Junior Development programs, in addition to our Summer Tennis Camp, offers something for every age and ability. We offer exemplary summer camp programs for children, which include full & half day options as well as weekly or full-season participation. Camp Parkwood, Sailing School, Tennis, Swim, Sports and Soccer Camps cater to all ages. Plus, NEW this summer, we added SPARK BUSINESS ACADEMY and Camp Parkwood After Camp Programs. Take a look inside for more details about it. Our ever-popular Steppingstone Summer Concert Series returns, highlighting exceptional performances by first-rate talent. Looking through this catalog, you will see it’s packed with exciting opportunities to learn, grow and be entertained! In 2025, we renewed and beautified Wyngate and Cuttermill Parks, upgraded Steppingstone Marina and expanded programming at the beachfront. For 2026, we are anticipating making further improvements at Memorial Field and Thomaston Park. Our parks are the “living rooms” of our community—spaces where neighbors meet, children play and everyone can find a moment of peace in nature. We encourage you to discover a new hobby, join a fitness class, or simply find a new favorite spot for a seasonal picnic here in the Great Neck Park District. On behalf of the Board of Commissioners and our dedicated staff, thank you for being an active part of our vibrant community. “The Great Neck Park District is committed to enhancing community by enriching the lives of our diverse residents through exceptional park spaces, facilities, recreational experiences and preserving the environment.” We look forward to seeing you out in the parks! - Chairperson Tina M.
